About
Why "honest" is the whole point
A lot of SEO advice is vague on purpose — it's easier to sound confident than to be specific. Honest SEO exists to be the opposite of that.
The specialism
I'm Jack — I focus specifically on structured data and schema markup, rather than SEO as a general catch-all.
That's a narrower focus than most consultancies offer, on purpose. Structured data is easy to do badly — copy-pasted from a plugin, half-finished, or quietly broken for months without anyone noticing. Doing it properly means understanding both how schema.org actually works and how your site is built.
If I can't explain clearly why a piece of markup helps your site, I won't recommend it.
Why this niche
Search engines — and increasingly AI systems summarising the web — rely more and more on structured, labelled content to decide what's trustworthy and what to show. Most sites haven't caught up. That gap is where the work is.

How I work
A few principles that shape every project.
Plain English
You get a report you can actually read, not a dump of validator warnings with no context.
No padding
If your site only needs one type of markup, that's what you get quoted for — not a bundle you don't need.
Shown, not just told
Every recommendation comes with the markup itself, tested, so you can see exactly what changes.
